Welcome to INYATHI GUEST LODGE in Knysna, the Heart of the Garden Route
A few days in Inyathi and your idea of a guest house will never be the same.
With 11 welcoming wooden chalets, dotted around a thriving forest garden, Inyathi Guest Lodge gives the feeling of a sleepy African village, despite being right in the heart of bustling Knysna! A perfectly positioned Bed and Breakfast, within easy walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants and the waterfront.
Each unique chalet is individually decorated with traditional African arts and crafts from different parts of the continent, and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the abundant bird song and beautiful garden scenery. The luxurious Victorian style baths, stained glass windows, crisp cotton linen and comfortable beds, compliment the experience of the African idyll.
A scrumptious buffet style continental and freshly cooked hot breakfast is served daily in the breakfast room, where the African savannah intrudes on breakfast, through a local artist’s handiwork and your hosts, Helen and Riaan can help you plan your day’s exploring around Knysna.
Helen and Riaan have travelled and worked all over Africa and love to share their stories and adventures. Their ambition at Inyathi is to provide great, personal customer service and affordable luxury accommodation, within a relaxed and peaceful setting.
They also hope to impart some of Africa’s unique, vibrant culture to their guests during their stay.
From the moment you enter Inyathi, you will be met with enthusiastic, helpful staff, beautiful clean surroundings, healthy delicious cooking, a relaxed atmosphere and unique vibrant decor.
